Agreed. Wholeheartedly. What was that he said in one of his interviews about shaking his ass on stage. Sit down Britney, Beyonce, take lessons...

So, lets talk about David Lee Roth.
One simple rule. You can use the questions below to get started or take this in any direction you so desire, as long as you leave it about Roth only.
1. We all want to meet him/see him again. If he were here live and in person, and you were only allowed one question, what would you ask him?
2. If Dave wanted to know why you like him, and you could only give him one reason, what would that be?
3. Have you actually met David Lee Roth? If so, did that change your opinion of him, and in what way?
4. David has always been a very vocal person, how honest do you think he is in his interviews and book?
5. What is your favorite David Lee Roth interview and why?
6. What do you see David doing next?
7. Here is one for the old timers. Did any of you ever see Mammoth or Red Ball Jets. (remember, only Roth comments allowed)
8. If you had to admit that Dave had ever fucked up in his life, what would you say was his biggest mistake?
9. If you could switch places with the Diamond one for one week, and one week only, would you, and what would you do for that week?
10. Whatever the hell else you want to talk about that has to do with *** you guessed it*** Diamond David Lee Roth.
2. Outstanding showmanship combined with an ego laced with a sense of (self-depreciating at times) sense of humor.
3. Never met him.
4. If you read the interviews, beyond the bluster and bravado (his interviews are really an extension of him as an entertainer), there's always a consistency to what he says throughout (as opposed to some of his former bandmates who can't get their story straight from one interview to the next). Goes a long way towards establishing credibility. At least shows that his own perceptions of what happened from his own perspective are solid.
5. Penthouse Interview 1986.
6. Think he's been leaving an escape hatch in place on all his undertakings since 1996 in order to reconvene with VH on as little notice as possible, however remote that possibility may have been, and was keeping his voice and act sharp for that purpose (explains his classic heavy live setlists of the last 5 years). Think he now realizes that classic VH reuniting is probably never gonna happen, and is gonna pursue a more eclectic series of goals, many of which will have little to do with rock music.
7. Never saw Mammoth or the Red Ball Jets.
8. His Vegas outing of 1995 was a noble effort, as opposed to the mistake many thought it was. Leaving Van Halen in 1985 wasn't a mistake either, considering the direction the music was heading. Would say his biggest mistake was trusting the Van Halens in 1996. He had been out of daily contact with them for too long by that point, and may have thought getting back together would have been like old times from a personality standpoint.
9. Not interested in switching places with DLR, but would love to have been a fly on the wall, especially for the classic lineups first four tours.
10. Have no idea what Roth will do next, but am sure it won't fail to entertain.Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment

Why would you have done anything to jepordize the 1996 reunion by saying something like, "Tonights about me, not your fuckin hip?" You should have just held your tounge
2. If Dave wanted to know why you like him, and you could only give him one reason, what would that be?
