    Why?

I don't get free slurpees just because I work at 7-11.

I think all employers should provide health care. But, that sounds like a reason to test for communicable diseases, not an argument to provide free health care.

The US is going broke. All this bullshit is vultures fighting over a dead carcase. Obamacare if the Supreme Court doesn't rule it unconstitutional and if enough states don't rebel against it will fail anyways due to the country simply going bankrupt. This really could be the begining of the US splitting apart. This is a major deal. 14 states have already said they would sue over this. The healthcare stocks rose on the news. This really isn't about healthcare at all. It's about the federal government forcing you to buy a product or you get penalized or fined. I wonder if the government is going to do the same to sell GM cars? We want everyone to have a new car to we are going to garnish your paycheck and send IRS agents over to go through your records to make sure you have been making your government approved car payments.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

In the past, when I said people should all buy health insurance and take care of themselves, people on here said that was bullshit...there should be public insurance, and the poor should be paid for.

Now the Democratic politicians say everybody has to buy health insurance for themselves...and everybody defends the idea (except Ford and maybe Lounge).

Could you possibly think for yourself any less? The Democratic party should just send you a pamphlet every month to tell you what your opinions are.

You don't have to have all state-owned companies to be a socialist state.

Well, apparently I "think for myself enough" to know that the gov't is offering subsidies for those that can't afford it. And guy wearing a Ron Paul-Thong while typing on his keyboard says what?

Secondly, what good would disallowing insurance companies from say dropping people for having cancer, or even raising rates far beyond the rate of inflation in order to purposely for small businesses to opt out of plans for their workers, if you didn't have some sort of decentive mechanism to coerce people to get off their fucking lazy asses and get insurance?

                              Think for myself? You first!

Actually, the majority of large utilities and companies actually have to be owned by the state in order to be socialist. Try not to be the undereducated American dolt watching Fox next time...
