I can do nothing about will get there's.....

I could care less what silliness someone believes in their spare time/home life. You want to think the Earth is only 6,00 years old despite the FACT that carbon dating proves otherwise - AT HOME - knock yourself out. But when you're talking with adults, and trying to make decisions regarding governance, policy, matters of science, reality, logic, etc. - EVERYONE needs to check their religious BS at the door, bottom line. Shouldn't even be open for debate.

Look. The Vatican is nothing more than the last remains of the Roman empire. Constantine merged Christianity with Roman paganism and made the universal (catholic church). That's all it is. It's a theocracy and had a past history littered with wars, torture, insurrections and such.

The Catholic church was such a menace when the United States was founded we didn't officially recognize it and refused to have any relations with it.

What you have to understand is the world isn't black and white. You can't say all Christians are bad and paint everyone with that brush. It's not that simple.

I once was watching an interview with Jesse Ventura. He's an agnostic. He said the wake up call he had while running the state of Minnesota was how much good the church's do with charity work. He said the amount of charity work the church's do is mind boggling and if they stopped doing that everyone would notice.

So it's a double edged sword. If you are looking for some kind of perfect world you aren't going to find it and I doubt it would get any better if all religion was gone. Like I said they had no church's in the Soviet Union. I doubt you want that system.
