What benefits? Temps have none and if they don't buy the overpriced insurance, they are going to have to pay a $2000 fine on their income taxes. I certainly don't see the benefit in that. There is no go to the hospital and the government pays for it plan. Maybe if you are a government employee or are in a union, but the average person is losing their benefits. The Democrats haven't done shit.

Because Mitt is as white as they come. He admitted it. He actually said if he was a dark skinned Mexican he would have a better chance at winning. Also, he towed the tough Republican anti immigration line. Look. Not only is the GOP toast the country is. Look how divided it is and half of it is mad as hell. GOP Texas might want out of the union and if that happens other states will follow. Then what do the feds do then? Are we going to have another civil war over the matter?

Frankly let's just make Washington, Oregon, and California a country. Make the Republican midland, the south, and Texas a country, and the east coast a country. Let those run their own affairs and life would be much better. The whole federal thing is divided, dysfunctional, and doesn't work anymore. Half of the country wants one lifestyle and the other half wants another. So let's just do it. People would be happier.

Yeah, but look what happened next: Dom Toretto disappears, and suddenly O'Conner winds up in either another part of California or Miami, take yer pick. Then O'Conner disappears, and somebody I never heard of is nebulously tearing up the streets of Tokyo with little if any regard to the original storyline, which mind-fuckingly includes a cameo of Dom showing up in the last frame. Shortly after, Dom and his crew are in the god-damned Caribbean, hijacking gas trucks on roads that look suspiciously from the American west. After that, even I lost interest.

Even worse, Fast and Furious 6 is currently in production as we speak. Hell, and you thought Sammy Hagar should know enough to call it a day.

.... of course the irony there is that Univision is based in Miami and is owned and operated by Cuban-Americans, most of whom are basically white skinned. Mittens probably lost some votes over that stunt, and deservedly so!

Not really. The world isn't that simple. Get out of your lounge more and you will realize that. I just negotiated my salary terms in a country where Democrats don't exist. Where the GOP blew it was failing to come up with a realistic immigrant worker visa program. Obama with fast and furious was not popular with a lot of the Mexicans. If the GOP would have embraced that base it might have put them over the top. Also, the Republican party blew the public trust with the invasion on Iraq and all the war profiteering. A lot of people might have liked Obama but they viewed him the lesser of the two evils. It's those two things.

You're buying into the racist ideological world view of the Tea Party if you think immigration was the deciding factor in the 2008 or 2012 election. Only those freaks think that Mexicans are the main cause of America's problems.

The main reason Obama won in 2008 and 2012 is because people were so disgusted by Dubya Bush's singular focus on the Illegal Iraq War and "protecting Americans from evil" that he allowed the Wall Street criminals to bankrupt the world's largest economy with their real estate fraud Ponzi scheme.

People only really care about their jobs and their paychecks --- and Dubya's croneyism towards the Wall Street assholes and the resultant destruction cemented Obama for 2 terms.
