Take ALL the private money out of elections, make them publicly financed, force the billionaire networks who we GRANT the airwaves to to show debates and town halls for free, level the playing field, and you'll start to see many good choices, and many grassroots efforts emerge.



But as long as money rules US politics, nothing will ever change, and you cant blame us for that.

Ross Perot got to take part in the Presidential debates. And the media wasn't quite as monopolized back then.

I suspect if Jill Stein, Rocky Anderson, and Gary Johnson and his bad rug had been on a debate stage with Obama and Mittens, there would have been a larger division of votes. Not saying it would have been enough to change the outcome, but at least enough to force the "major" candidates to address some real issues.

I come from a polygamous family on my mom's side. In fact there is a photo of my great grandfather in federal prison. He was jailed for polygamy. Some of the family fled to Alberta, Canada and still live there. There is a Mormon colony in Cardston, Alberta. Some went to Canada others went to Mexico. Why the feds went after the Mormons is the mining barons wanted to break their influence in Utah.
