Nothing he's proposing is an infringement, Constitutional scholars have already said he's acting within his authority. Get over yourself.
Amazing. The ones I've read says he can't write new laws with an EO, only make minor enforcement directives to existing laws.
In other words, he CANNOT enact an assault weapon ban, limit magazine size, or order Universal Background Checks (which, if they include checking on a person's mental treatment, violate HIPAA laws).

None of which will be done by EO, and you know it. He's got several proposals on the table.

I want to hear his proposals on eliminating root causes of gun violence...if he has any.
I want to know how he's going to get around HIPAA Laws to check on everyone's mental health who apply for a background check to purchase a firearm.
Bob Goldblatte (R-VA) is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and already said legislation banning any type of weapon or any magazine will not be considered.

[I]My draft letter... While the recent gun violence is tragic, I believe the intended erosion of our citizens’ rights to keep and bear arms is just as tragic.
Let me get this straight. Your saying that being told you might not be able to purchase military styled artillery and magazines is just as tragic as the shooting deaths of children, who mind you, spent their final minutes of lives, scared to death and wanting nothing more than to be in their parents arms?
On what universe do these two scenarios both equal tragedy? Only one is tragic. The other, an inconvenience.
While I can appreciate your interest in protecting your rights, your train of thought comes off as mind bogglingly insensitive and insane.
