Actually the gay community is being exploited to cause division in the population. Someone is running the old divide and conquer strategy on us. This stuff isn’t just organically happening, it’s being funded and promoted. So some gays wanted civil unions for good reasons. Instead of getting that someone takes it to where it’s going to cause maximum agitation.

Kid Rock isn’t stupid. He’s a niche marketer. He’s borrowing from the Ted Nugent play book. He’s going to make money off this stunt because it’s great publicity and promotes him to a certain crowd. It would be stupid if he wanted to appeal to liberals. Then it would be a career killer. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

Some people view marriage as a religious ordinance and not just a legal procedure. Legalizing same sex civil unions would have given all the legal benefits of marriage without the controversy. This was suggested but people love to poke the bear. So now we have a more divided society that our enemies are exploiting.
Maybe we can get the Catholic Churches feelings on Wokeness and the morality of marriage?Last edited by Nickdfresh; 04-09-2023, 08:23 PM.Comment

I have some family members and few friends who fought hard for gay marriage rights. From a legal perspective I believe it's a good thing. Although I warned them of the reality that it's not all fancy ceremonies and loving bliss. Now most of them have experienced the pain and miserable legal challenges that come with divorce... A couple of them have admitted... now i get what you warned us of... There's two side to the equality coin.
I don't think the executives at Anheuser-Busch made a very smart move with this marketing thing from the perspective of their overall customer base. A significant amount of their consumer base isn't invested in the movement of this gender definition nonsense. It would serve them right if the go woke... go broke... element had a significant impact on the corporation. They should of just stuck to making crappy beer...

Czechvar is actually one of my favourite beers, it's called Budvar in Europe long complicated story I think.
I used to drink Lowenbrau back in the 90s, don't see it here very often any more. Estrella I drink quite a often as it's on draft in a pub I go to. I didn't know you could get Hoegaarden in the US, it's usually expensive - a wheat beer. Leffe and Michelob are fine too. Stella Artois is sometimes darkly called 'Wife Beater' here due to it being strong and often pretty cheap.
Looks like they have bought up the US rights to a bunch of good European strong lagers...Comment

Maybe Kid Rock is trying to point out that impaired driving takes many more lives per year in these United States, than guns ever dreamed of taking. More innocent kids are killed by impaired drivers on our roadways, than school shootings, every single year. Maybe he is trying to point out that alcohol causes billions of dollars a year in medical and medical related expenses.
But hey, you drunken loser Libtards keep deflecting from those issues.Comment

Yeah Kid Rock was protesting drink driving with that... :D
Also I don't know if he supports school shootings but he does support school raping.

Who fucking cares what religious zealots think? There is a separation of church and state for a reason, and they don't get to define marriage nor inflict their beliefs on others. These same assholes support Trump, a guy that at best cheats on his wive(s) and at worst was allegedly a Jarod-like pedo rapist....

From those roots many of legal tenants and even some of our core financial and property rights aspects stem from the ancient traditions of marriage. In many cultures the church was the administrator of these legal, financial, spiritual and lovey-dovey things.
The separation of church and state concept stems from a simple clause in the US Constitution... Congress shall make no laws where religion is concerned. Federal law only grants protections of the civil union between two parties. All the rest of the legal mess associated with marriage is governed by state and local laws.
You can whine about religious zealots all you want... but you can't untangle the roots of marriage without some consideration of where the whole idea came from..."If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”Comment

And here's what the "primitive middle eastern goat herders" actually had to say about gay marriage....
And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house.
Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.
And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.Eat Us And Smile

It's an inconvenient thing when running your mouth... but if you take a historical look at the origins of where western concepts of marriage come from you'll find it is deeply rooted within the constructs of foundational religions dating back thousands of years.

Nope, do try again with your shitty logic fallacy. Child Cock is a washed-up white trash singer who feels that somehow having anything gay to do with his undrinkable white trash beer infringes on his white entitlement. That is his fucked up augment Child Cock does not give one single fuck about car accidents and even if he did he would also realize there are a stringent laws against drunk driving, and that cars do have safety standards before they can go on the nation's highways.Comment

I suppose you can include that shit too in your history lesson if that's where your interests lie... this is a discussion on "inclusiveness" so bring your degenerates of all flavors..."If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”Comment
