I think Alex made it real clear that there will be no reunion with DLR. As DLR/CVH fans, we need to move on. The best we can hope for is some CD/DVD releases of classic VH material. Maybe WB will wise up and put this stuff out. Ed and Al are not thinking very clearly by recording with Hagar again. The 3 new songs got very little airplay and a new album will go from 0 to 0 on the charts. Lets face it, 96 was the year and the self destructive VH brothers blew it. Fellow soldiers it's time to move on. 20 years is a long time to wait for something that isn't going to happen.

Ultraman, although I am not holding my breath for a reunion... I have to say

ALEX is an ASS that should not even be responsible for wiping himself...let alone control the future of the other three gentlemen. Hopefully Eddie will sober up one day and realize this. I think Alex is a major enabler and probably encourages Eddie's boozing to help him keep control over his brother, but MAYBE this tour has been an eyeopener for Ed.

I still think the Van Hagar's will try and recruit another washed up singer they think will appeal to the "kids". Maybe that kid from Hanson? Mark(y) Wahlberg. Marc McGrath?Art Alexakis? Carrot Top?!?

Much as I hate to admit it, I'm having almost as much fun watching Van Halen drag the shreds of their dignity through the poop with this abortion of a tour...and I do think David's better served staying worlds away from that dismal excuse for "musicians"...

At this point, I think David oughta just give them the finger and keep doing his own thing. I don't think I'm bound to be disappointed any time in the near future
