Hey Carmine, we're making points with the Dave Police, eh?
    Not bad for a noob!
I like Van Halen more than Dave's PA Rental.....which means I like Van Halen more than you

        Look here's what's gonna happen....

Dave will continue to enjoy himself and play casinos, feeding the masses who like to hear his version of VH. He should play more solo shit though.

Sam and Mike will play in Cabo, and Mike will pretty much be a regular sit-in anywhere Sam tours. Sam is happier this way, and Mike gets to keep playing somewhere.

Ed will lock himself up at home, maybe take care of himself, maybe not. He and Al will jam together, Ed will throw a few licks together for some music he'll probably do nothing with unfortunately. Once in a while, he'll show up somewhere and maybe jam with an old friend unannounced.

And maybe in 10 years if they get into that stupid Hall of Fame, they'll all let bygones be bygones and everyone can at least show up and accept their award together. Hug, kiss, and move on with life.

What I want to happen now is for VH to at least put out some sort of box set with unreleased old shit, or hell just even remastered versions of songs they did for the WB demo. Throw us a bone, there's gotta be tons of old shit lying around. And then release a DVD of a live DLR-era show, most preferably, Oakland '81.

        And there ya have it.

True FS... But not enough good, kick back, pull the pop top off a brew, light-up-a-smoke, grab a pool cue and pretend you a rock god music out there, I'm sad to say. Those days might just be over. CVH remastered on a great stereo turned up to '11 ' is about as good as it gets.

<jamming DOA turned up to '11' in the background>

Man this song just kicks ass at ear-bleed levels. Ed's guitar is so raw, Mike's backgrounds are spot-on, and Dave lays it on the line. This is conquer-the-world type shit

OAKLAND is the latest rumor. It's in one of the paragraphs of my FAIR WARNING RE-VISITED thread. There's a big rumor that the band has been looking at the old film reels and thinking about restoring them.

They probably saw what Jimmy Page did with Led Zeppelin's 1972 shows and felt "put to shame!"
