I don't know if Dave could help these assholes out!! But damn that would b a great show!!!

    Thank you and good night!

The tour was a success and don't any of you forget that!

I especially enjoyed how the major promoters absolutely won't back anymore tours without Dave...'cause these modern promoters these days, they KNOW - and CARE - how much green Dave would bring in... This is why they're letting him play the Indian casinos instead of sponsoring a world tour.

Because the music industry's current climate would embrace a Dave reunion even given a risk on the desperational redline. Because it's not like classic rock's nearly dead to the mainstream of the world. Nah, that's not it.

Again you are full of shit and are using a completely false analogy! Let's see how Sammy does on tour with the Waborita's, whose virtues you lustly extoll so much. They're such a bar band, Sammy had to buy his own club to keep them busy, and to provide his main source of income (as in tequila).

Does that fact that Roger Waters wrote the majority of PINK FLOYD's (good) material, yet his tours constantly draw far below the pseudo-Floyd everyone goes to see on the major tours mean anything to you? It's about name recognition, not quality fool! Sheep buy tickets to the name, not the real band.

Yeah, unfortunately, if Dave did come back, you would never post here again for fear of choking on crow SHEEP! Now get back in the fucking PEN you verbose windbag!

Some of us actually got into Van Halen because of Eddie, not Dave. I wasn't inspired to play guitar because of Dave's singing.

That wasn't my point. I was as attracted to Van Halen by Ed's playing as I was to Dave's "car-az-ma.'" Merely, my point was on the relative expectations of this past tour being far above the actual turnout and buzz generated by it.

And I think Ed's playing was better with Dave at the helm for whatever reason.

Look in the mirror. I am not the one "trolling" at this site my friend. And whose agenda? My agenda is to post at a biased "Dave" site, what is YOUR 'AGENDA?'

If I ever again post at the links, I'll be sure to bring my best, unbiased, vanilla D-game you seem to enjoy. Perhaps you can start a Sam site so I can go make fun comments.

Wait, I have the perfect site for you and other Hagar fans to see...

Generally speaking, the current music biz of the twenty first century would hardly bat an eye between the differences of a Hagar or a Roth reunion. Dave would draw perhaps a bit more interest, but certainly not enough to change venue size or ticket cost. Van Halen, alas, is that dated. It's their own fault for taking too long of hiatuses.

Or did you not read THAT writing on the wall next to yours?

                    Thanks for playing, anyway.

Uh, yeah. I remember every radio station I heard saying this isn't the real deal (when they "reunited). I look at record sales. I look at a tour in which images of Dave were still featured in the T.V. commercials for the shows and Dave songs were played in the radio commercials. Every review I read had to point out that this was Hagar and not Dave. Half the reviews didn't recognize a lot of the Hagar "classics", but sure pointed out that the band played PANAMA, UNCHAINED, etc. The new album was a bomb. The tour lost money. Of course, when Sam left and it looked like Dave was coming back, the world went apeshit. This couldn't have been the world screaming "Finally", could it? The fact that most of the media, musical personalities and record sales point to people feeling Hagar is inferior doesn't say something about which line-up is more popular, does it? Hmmm. Why did Warners only release the Dave albums remastered? How come not the other albums in the band's catalogue? Hmmm. And don't you kinda think that maybe a million more people in America would come see a VAN HALEN tour if Hagar weren't there and Dave were? I know I would be someone that would actually show up this time, as would most of the hard rock concert-going public, everyone at this site and people that actually matter in the industry. Get your head out of your ass. That sham of a tour was great because it finally proved to tools like yourself that Hagar doesn't matter in history and Dave does. Your only defense now is that VAN HALEN wouldn't sell no matter who was singing, and you know that's bullshit. If Dave comes back and the band is actually doing something good, it will blow away any tour cheesehead could pull off.

SQUEALIN', get back in the Pen. I believe you were inducted there on the 29th.

The latest in a short line of hagar sycophants. Another jester, here to entertain the troops with his dog & pony show. Sorry, we still aren't interested, like the majority of Americans.

Didn't hear anyone complaining about the size of the Metallica crowds last year. Not bad for a 21 year old "Classic Rock Band".

The 2004 FLEECE THE SHEEP tour was well promoted and still under-attended. Simply hysterical that it still pains you.

Keep contributing to the "van hagar Myth"!

I was actually going to post something similar, except I was going to note that the top selling acts today include U2. Their much awaited world tour has people running to get tickets. Green Day's album has been selling off the shelves and is now in the running for Album of the Year at the Grammys, despite the fact they sharked after their initial release, DOOKIE (nearly ten years ago).

A REAL rock and roll act, Classic Van Halen, with a new and relevant album to support WOULD draw significant interest.

No, SHEEP...I'm not here for a merit badge or to impress anyone. I just like good, logical arguing. And it's interesting to watch how once again you've dodged all of my points. It's funnier even to point out that while I'm apparently impressing the masses, you're trying to prove to a David Lee Roth site that he's not as important as its members think.

Go get laid or something. (But only after I let you out of my Pen, you twisted music fan.)
