Maybe the sisters will learn from not making the CVH reunion a reality in 2000 or 2001.

1996 was a different matter --- Ray fucking Daniels wanted the band to use Dave to boost up sales for Best of Vol. 1.

The word here is CONTROL.

Ed and Al don't want to split that control up with Dave. They don't want Dave giving the OK for T-shirt designs, stage show designs, etc.

But they HAVE TO. Obviously because Dave is just better at it.

Ed and Al should just concentrate on the music, rehearsing, etc.

Let Dave and some others do all the marketing shit.

And then all the chips will fall into place.

I agree VV, on part. There are hurdles, no doubt, but I disagree that Dave wants or needs total control. I think he just wants to have a VOICE in the decisions,25% if you will, and do whats best for the band. HE is the ONLY member of VAN HALEN that still actually cares about their legacy.
