I'm disappointed, I got my subscription in the mail today. There isn't jack shit about the tour/reunion. Just Ed, Al and wolf are going to tour in summer of this year.

The teaser from last month had a quote from Ed we all saw about wanting to get back with Dave. I expected something here. Just a lot of fluff about nothing. Wow they copied the frankenstrat. Big deal, I did the same thing in my garage. Give us some new info.

So ed is going to start his own company, EVH, to build gear. Under the Fender umbrella. That was interesting.

I forgot to comment, there isn't an interview with Ed. Just a few random quotes here and there. Pretty disapointing issue.

The interview is on the CD-rom. It's pretty interesting..was expecting something about the band, though...

WRONG. Mike and Dave actually did have drinks together a few times in the late 80's, Mike has said. They were never on the outs, and bumped into each other at parties/shows.

The grocery store we shop at carries Guitar Player. I no longer have a subscription because I'm not interested in any of the new players or bands with the exception of a few like Los Lonely Boys.

They didn't have the EVH issue in yet, they still have a huge stack of that stupid Zakk Wylde Christmas issue.

Sounds like I got dissapointed that the new issue wasn't in for nothing.

I think Kramer guitars are gay. That company was so mismanaged and coasted on Ed's affiliation with them. I bought a USA made Barretta and it was one of the worst guitars I ever owned. The sad story is I traded in a much loved Les Paul Custom to get the Kramer. I wish I still had that Les Paul. My ugly and dorky Peavey Wolfgang is such a better guitar than that piece of melted poo Kramer ever was.

Don't even get me started on the pointy headstock with that shrinking Kramer logo on it. That has to be the gayest headstock ever designed!

I then look at the Fender Stratocaster and it blows me away they got so much right right off the bat in 1954. It's still a great looking and playing guitar.
