In a way it's sad to see that little boy with his parents and see where it all ended up. Unless dad or mom is a real super duper abusive asshole, most kids want their parents together. Divorce hurts children way worse than most people realize. Cheating a big issue though. If you can't trust your spouse, what's the point? Although she really had to go through with it (to make her self trust worthy after she told him to leave if he didn't stop drinking ) I don't think she wanted to leave at all and she gave him the longest time to
