Well, the Lennon/McCartney "sort of reunion" in 1974 didn't turn out all that great.......

Danger in the rearview mirror, there's trouble in the wind....

Badness bringing up the rear, the menace is loose again!

(you guys all just sang that to yourselves in your brains huh? I knew it! )
Always thought it was "Bandits bringing up the rear"...

But anyway, I have more important things to worry about. Say, raising enough cash for a trip to Thailand...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

So what are we all going to do when the band walks on stage with Mikey back in the mix and Gary Cherone on vocals?

On November 30, 2011... a live announcement to be made about... a historic band reunion... to take place at the Grammy's on February 12, 2012.

Odds favor the Dumbass Hoodwink PR prank from these bozos to be 3/4's CVH and Ed's kid... neither historic nor a reunion. Yawn... we ain't that dumb Janie.

The only real option would be Biff Malibu... aka Michael Anthony on that stage with Wolfie and his mommy in the audience. Right...

But you heard it here first, knotheads... The Mighty Van Halen has found Waldo and the historic reunion is a go!!

For the historical impaired... note the brat under Dave's finger... the original Waldo.

I don't think that is a beer in Dave's hand. In the mid 80's they had glass stubby bottles of soda pop with a foam jacket label around it. I forgot about those but now I remember them.

Rumour gets embellished - now, contactmusic say, VH will be the main attraction:

Rockers Van Halen are to headline the 2012 Grammy Awards.
Fans have been waiting for the group, led by Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth, to reveal details of a reunion tour - and it looks like it will begin with a performance at music's biggest night in February (12).
The official announcement will come during the Grammy Nominations Concert Live event on 30 November (11) in Los Angeles.
Van Halen's first album of new material in 27 years to feature original singer Lee Roth is expected to arrive early next year (12
              ).

I really liked those. I wish they would bring them back when the do those reto promos with real sugar. And run a special run with those bottles with Stevia instead of the sugar.

Jeez...once we get past Thanksgiving, Black Friday, the hustle and bustle of Christmas, Christmas itself, New Years, the NHL Winter Classic , and the Super Bowl, we might get to see Van Halen on television. Then again, it's been a 25 year wait thus far, so what's a few more months of hoping?

                    That would defeat the point.

Now that you mention it, yeah - doesn't look like a beer.

                        From melodicrock.com

VAN HALEN - AS THE WORLD TURNS...AND TURNS...AND TURNS...:
There really isn't anything much in the way of news to report, but Van Halen fans might get a glimpse of the band at the November 30 Grammy Nominations Concert, broadcast from LA. Rumor (and the odd not too subtle Grammy tweet) would suggest the band will turn up to announce they will perform at the actual Grammy Awards in February....and announce details of the pending tour and album. They will NOT be performing on the Nominations Show (providing they show up).

Just for the record - other titbits I have heard include the band filming a video for the album's first single in LA a few weekends back; rumor of the possible inclusion of a cover tune on the new album (I was told DLR demo'd several in NYC to send to the band to select from).

                          I remember those.

Problem was the temptation to pick at the foam and make a mess.

Man. What a waste. There is so much potential in that press conference. And here we are 4+ years later. Last quote from Ed... "we are at our best." What a disappointment.

Why do I keep coming back to this web site expecting to see anything different?
