Anybody think they'll do some smaller markets in 8000-10000 seaters? I'm hopin' so... Dayton needs a killer VH show! Lots of newer buildings across the country in this size range.

I think it will happen, I saw them In Reno front row in 08. I think that about 8,000. That was a perfect show btw. Perfect size arena and killer sound.

Christ, I usually get between 15-20 Google alerts per day, each one usually full of Sammy Hagar's going out of his way to point out that he is over VH, doesn't care about no longer being a part of it and how awful Edward Van Halen is. Now when I actually want to get one regarding Van Halen tour dates, I get...crickets.

Chicago has some great old theaters.

Yesterday I stumbled across my ticket stub when DLR played the Metro in the early 90's ($17.50) . My brother and I sat up above near the bar, drinking and watching the show. At the time I just didn't appreciate how cool it was to be in a more intimate setting; I was bummed Dave was playing such a small place after doing tours thru the Rosemont Horizon. God, how time changes perspective.

If you crave smaller venues like that ---- check out your local BBQ rib joint across the street from the 18,000 seat hockey arena that VH just sold out ---- that's where you'll find Chickenshit playing their gig!

i wish they would do a full world tour . and include scotland but i cant see it . i dont even think they will leave the us and canada.

Nothing official has been posted yet, but I can confirm that VH will be performing in my hometown of Montreal on March 15. Man, I'm psyched!

My guess is that other cities in the north-eastern seaboard will have dates close to this date as well.
