Menus? Menus??? We don't need no stinkin' menus! Seriously, I could care less if a boot has a menu or not. I've yet to use one of them and usually just wind up checking it once I've burned the disc to make sure it works in case I need to let the person who's getting a copy know. If you want to put a logo of some kind on it I say go ahead.

And I don't remember if the tweets were good the night of the New Orleans show. But, then again...I can't remember the tweets from most of the shows.

Here's one my video camera snapped. As I said earlier, my video camera snapped lots of photos unbeknownst to me. This is from "Cradle."

I don't know what I love more, the black stealth or the red one. Both great colors. Love the matte finish. I love the neck on the red one. I should've asked for both on my b-day which happened during the VH in New Orleans vacation. Ha! Okay yeah I want to get this disc out. I checked and it will contain the fuckhead barking like a dog during the Dave "Ice Cream Man" intro. Just refused to put him on YouTube.

Drinking brew as we speak. Okay tech savy folks.... It appears my videos from NOLA are in AVCHD format. I burned them to disc for fun and they play on all my SONY DVD Players (the camera that I filmed with is SONY) but when I put the disc in (sounds filthy) my Toshiba DVD player it wouldn't recognize. Do I need to convert this shit or do most newer model DVD players play this format?

Sorry - no clue. I guess worst case, we all go out and buy Sony DVD players! Those were some awesome videos!

I have no problem converting. I worry about it dumbing down the videos and making them less clear. Momshell, what brand DVD player do you have? I am currently looking online to see compatibility. I'd rather not compromise the video quality.

I have a Phillips and a Magnavox that's part of a HDTV. One of my videos worked in the Phillips but not the other one. I'm so clueless about how all this stuff works.

Just gotta say - House of Pain from the '84 tour is fuckin' awesome!!! Dave is going nuts during the solo doing splits and what looks like break dancing - spinning on his head and ending in splits! Then he breaks into a sexy dance as they're coming out of the solo, followed by an insane classic jump. GREAT SHOW!!!

I have the Charlotte, NC audio bootleg of the 84 tour. Gotta love Dave stopping the show during "On Fire" for someone throwing fireworks on the stage. Did you say Dave spun on his head? I have that bootleg. I didn't remember that!

Yup!! Montreal '84 - he does what looks like a break dancing routine during the solo - splits, head spins, the whole deal!! I'm gonna see if I can find it on YouTube....I'll send you a copy of this show if you want

Speaking of DVDs not working...Vandeleur was cool enough to send me several DVDs and two of them were this year's Nashville show. I put the first disc in and it played great until about half-way through and then it crapped out. We've got 6 DVD players here and it wouldn't play on any of them. The second disc wouldn't play at all. This was on Monday. And not 5 minutes ago I put the first disc in and it started playing just fine. Popped in the second disc and it's playing right now, I'll Wait is blowing the windows out!
