No gig nights has led to a rash of rediculous new threads.

No kidding!!! It's kind of strange over here right now.....I'm ready for shit to get back to normal....I keep coming over here, but I'm not into boxing, politics, books, medications, or what I ate for fucking dinner, so, I guess the wait continues :-)

Serious question. Would you guys rather have the same exact setlist for 40 more shows or this? I'd honestly rather have this. The threads got a lot less fun when they stopped rotating songs in and out and the surprises like Hang 'em High were over. I do feel really bad for people who didn't get to see them this year and were banking on the second leg. And the Cleveland show would have been awesome in terms of the meetup. But as far as missing show threads, I really don't miss them if the setlists were going to be identical, which I believe they would have been. I can't prove that of course but that's my hunch.

For the most part, I agree. However, 1) I was looking forward to the road trip. and 2) seeing a second show on this tour was feeling like making up for lost time during all those years without Dave in the band. Don't get me wrong, I saw them 3 times in their heyday, but I'm an addict....and I had a fever and the only prescription was....a quick Van Halen in Memphis fix.

Lou, I totally agree with you. I would love to see some changes on the next leg. Whatever break they need to take is just fine with me. My only real demand is that on the next leg they also hit around a 400 mile radius of Boise so that Sniper and I can catch a show....

Sniper and I have a 15 hour road trip from Boise to L.A. starting on Saturday. Thinking this will be the perfect time to bring the Ipod and rotate through the Van Halen 6 pack and ADKOT....good times!!!
