Hate to say it, but yep. Sounds like he is singing with his nose plugged. I have a sound stage REO concert from a few years ago and he is horrible on most of it. He can sing the right note's or whatever but the sound of his voice is weird. Not to mention no Gary but that's another story. Dave is getting that same sound on some songs. Others not so much. I don't know what causes that.

I realize you didn't ask me - but i'm gonna chime in anyway :D
I watched that show today and thought it was really, really good... As a bootleg, it's fucking awesome - first row & HD.. the performance was excellent. They all seemed to be into it and the energy level was very high. Seem like Osaka was a good one too, I hope it surfaces as a complete recording!Originally posted by wiseguyThat shit will welcome you in the morning and pour the milk in your count chocula for ya.Comment

The Tokyo show was a vast improvement over Osaka.
Dave's vocals are greatly improved. I wonder if he actually read any of the posts here and took the constructive criticism to heart about keeping himself in a lower range. It really does make all the difference in the world.
If he keeps it that way I'll be in line for the next shows nearby in the U.S.. But if that ungodly shrieking and straining comes back, I'm out.Originally posted by perilouspete

I don't think he's in it for the money. Regardless of whether he's "in the band" or not, he's financially set up for the rest of his life...as long as he stays on his Pop's good side...
I believe he's in it to get stage chops and pussy....and because he loves the music. And those three reasons are perfectly fine and valid by my estimation.Last edited by fryingdutchman; 06-25-2013, 06:08 AM.Originally posted by perilouspete
