Q: How do you know a drummer's at your door?

A: He doesn't know when to come in

"Hey buddy, how late does the band play?"
"Oh, about a half beat behind the drummer."

Why is a drum machine better than a drummer?
Because it can keep good time and won't sleep with your girlfriend.

            Integrity.

Just how much INTEGRITY does one need to muster to hit a ball into a hole?
            Philanthropy takes integrity....
Being a teacher, firefighter, police officer, or soldier takes integrity.....

No wonder you and Thermos hit off so well before your big breakup
I have to get back to writing, but if you don't understand how golf is a game of integrity, you do not know the game of golf.

The recent media coverage of Tiger Woods and his extramarital affairs has focused on Woods as if he were a Hollywood celebrity. However, a key difference — and core to understanding many of us who are more than disappointed in Woods’ transgressions — is to understand how this relates to golf.

Golf is a game of honesty and integrity. The game relies on the individual to identify and report when he plays outside of the rules — accidental or not.

These apparent repeated transgressions must make the golfing world think a bit. While there is no doubt about Woods’ superb golfing ability, several questions now creep up:

How are they able to find Woods’ ball in the deepest of roughs? Did he get a little extra help in his recent recovery from knee surgery?

In life, we often separate our professional and personal lives. However, key traits are inherent in our personality, and these include integrity and honesty. For the golfing community, it is not the loss of celebrity, but the loss of integrity that causes us to feel betrayed.

            Donald Allred

            Springboro
Golf is a game that depends on honesty and integrity

Golf is referred to as a game for gentlemen and ladies because you keep the rules without being told to. What a great lesson to convey to your children, integrity. There are 34 Rules of Golf and the very first one states: “The game of golf consists of playing a ball with a club from the teeing ground into the hole by a stroke or successive strokes in accordance with the rules”.
The legendary Jackie Burke, Masters and PGA Champion, uses this rule to remind parents that like life you accept the tried and true rules. You don’t agree to change them just because they are difficult. And if you have any problems, you resolve them with fairness and equity like ladies and gentlemen.
            • Keep an accurate score
            • Don’t cheat
            • Don’t agree with your playing partners tocheat or change the rules
            • Resolve any disputes with fairness

To put it simply, we need to worry a lot less about how to communicate our actions and much more about what our actions communicate.

              Hey dipshit.....

Your "integrity" flies right out the window once you leave the public course, and play for millions against other millionaires on TV, all the while parlaying your fame into endorsement contracts worh 100's of millions.....

If you look up to those who play golf for a living, and emulate their "integrity", then that tells me ALL I need to know about you....

A golfer has "integrity" becuase he keeps his own score and doesnt lie and/or cheat?

              fucking classic.

Why do bands have bass players?
                    To translate for the drummer.

I once asked a drummer how to spell "Mississippi".
He said, "the river or the state?"

I am going to watch national sports etc, and watch for good mentors and inspirational people. just because you think everyone should be unaccountable is not a reason not to hold people accountable.

I am able to look beyond the fact that not everyone can be a firefighter, LEO, EMT or teacher. There is always places to find inspiration.

You just said it was a game of integrity...but the reason he won't cheat has to do with the fact there's refs and about 50 million people watching him play.

Why are you on a DLR/CVH web site then? This band has some of the most fucked up people possible in it at one time or another.....Eddie, for example.

Do you realize how stupid/childish/naive that sounds. They're fucking human beings with all the baggage that comes with it, good or bad.

Of course there is..... separate the Art from the Artist and you'll find even more. You think Mozart was a fucking role model or Van Gogh? No, but they created great art.

This is just the media manipulating people into thinking this shit is actually important.

The only ones owed an apology are his wife and family. He doesn't need to apologize to anyone else for a goddamned thing!
He doesn't need to apologize to me! He didn't fuck my girlfriend, pal! And even if he did (the little whore that she is), I wouldn't hold it against him. You can't put raw meat in front of a lion (or in this case, a tiger) and expect him not to eat it.

What about all the whores who knowingly fucked a married man with young children? Where are their apologies? Yeah, Tiger is 100% responsible for his "transgressions", but what about the never ending line of floozies waiting to line up & lay down? And then one porn star comes out with a press conference of her own with Gloria Allred and cries that she is owed an apology from Tiger. Unbelievable.
