Ok, but I am firmly off my rocker concerning being honest with yourself and others.
I do not watch television like the rest of you do here. I selectively read and view my information.
I did not know that Tiger had breeched his marital contract 12 times until long after everyone else.
I had not seen the apology until I saw it here.
Maybe, Tiger does not want to be another John Daly. I do not know. I hope he does not want to be a John Daly.
He was not married when I followed golf closely. But the fact remains he breached his contract with his wife. He could have choose a wife that would have supported, even enjoyed a promiscuous lifestyle with him.
He has only been married since 2004 (I had to look that up). That is a mere 6 years. Not over-all very long of a time line when dealing with family of the Wood's sort.
This is not the 1980's. One cannot be a public figure and not expect to be held accountable. I know all to well the extremes that private life can be invaded by a person by of determination. Is it right? No, it is not. However, I do not do things that I would not be accountable.
Tiger is in a vastly greater publicly known position than I would ever wish to be. He cannot expect in todays age to live a life with out disclosure. For his own well being, He had best be comfortable with himself.
Sure there are the lulu's that are well practiced at the anonymous, but how dead are they. A constant edge of attack and with little to no freedom to relish life carefree. The freedom of truth is incredible and not buy-able.
I haven't been to a golf tourney in a very long time. I enjoy them because of Tiger. I do not play golf. I go to to enjoy cordial and milieu.
Will I go to tourneys again, if or if not Tiger has his p&q's together, most likely I will. Tiger brought a vast new audience to golf. Moreover, Tiger has a significantly historical place in golf. It is up to him, now to choose if or if not he wants to be fair and honest.......with himself.
