I still think it was way better than GLADIATOR and deserved an Oscar more than GLADIATOR did. I've always maintained that GLADIATOR is CONAN with a bigger budget.

100% in agreement. I watched GLADIATOR in a theater with a buddy I did construction with...it was a rain day. Almost nobody else in the theater. We start yelling back and forth to each other..."Wonder What's gonna Happen Next?!?' "Didn't See THAT Cumming!!!"

I too was REALLY bored with GLADIATOR. Unsophisticated, unintelligent movie. Figures that Hollywood's standards are so low that they'd consider it their best film of the year.

Still have to see A BEAUTIFUL MIND! I know all about the person it's about. Definitely gonna pick it up one of these days!
