What it boils down to is too many people want their cut of the public treasury. Then add in the Federal Reserve that answers to nobody and can't even be audited. They could create money out of nothing and then give it to whoever under the table and they would have a budget invisible to the US Congress. You are going to have all sorts of possible shenanigans with that kind of unchecked power available on tap. As long as you can maintain the illusion of scarcity you could issued a lot of dollars under the table to fund all sorts of stuff. The key to this game is to keep the average person in the dark about it. In other words, the connected can counterfit their own power. The politicians come and go but Washington insiders stay and as long as they have access to money, they can buy what they want in Washington.

Jhelpess, get some serious help man. I’m just a dude in a trib and 2 other bands. You work in a music shop and laugh at guys like me when we come in and when we leave. You get ph numbers of guitar players through your shop either due to the product you sell or someone got paid.

You’re the same guy that laughs when I didn’t think there was much there with Chastain vs Tommy Shaw or Sambora. Same with Holdsworth or Vinnie Moore vs Schon, you read the magazines and believed it. You’ve changed your ‘look’ to stay current. I get it.

You repair shit now and get paid for it. I get it and so does anyone else that plays 3 or 4 nights a week. You’re go-to-guy.
