I believe if the tour starts and boots come out on YouTube along with good reviews, you'll be there. If the shows are bad cause Ed is wasted, Dave gets too Vegas, Wolfgang can't keep up, visible tension onstage, the Army will be the first place we'll hear it.
It's like your favorite boxer getting in the ring after a lengthy retirement. You want to root for him, but quietly are nervous for his health, dignity & reputation.
