First of all...it would be my VH 100th wind...

and I'm not at all excited about it in the least...

    Trust me...

I won't be paying for a fucking ticket for this show...

    no fucking way...

When I see a press conference with Roth, The Van Halens and Anthony confirming it, then (and ONLY then) am I gonna believe it.

MelodiCROCK has gotten this rumor wrong too many times in the last 7 years for the site to have any credibility on this topic, far as I can see it.

If Anthony isn't there, it ain't Van Halen, per-i-fuckin'-id.

No new album or new songs? My interest has diminished. Wolfie on bass? I don't fucking think so. This is CVH, not the Chucky Cheese Family Values Tour. Ed dragging his kid onstage in 2004 is one thing; ain't gonna make a Van hagar show any worse. Kid has no place onstage when Roth's fronting the band, IMO. Don't give a shit who his father is.

        Press Conference?

        Are you kidding me?

When they walk OFF the stage after their first show....

        then I'll believe it...

        and then the next show...

        and then the next show...

        and then the next show...

Roth won't wait until the end of the tour to explain how big a fucking tool Ed is...

        then let the games begin...

There you have it. He wasn't referring to Chastain Park...see, they're bulldozing the Lakewood Fairgrounds exhibition halls, but not HI-FI BUYS (LAKEWOOD) AMPHITHEATER.....it's a big place.

First off, Pojo...you're full of shit. You know good and hell well that you'll be buying a ticket for this tour if it happens. :D You know it and I know it.

Second....I still don't believe it, but I'd love to be proven wrong. Mainly because it gives my son a chance to see a glimpse of what real VH was all about on a first hand basis.

I'm so trying NOT to get my hopes up again, but I would really like to see it happen this time. And while I agree with some of POJO's points, I will be coughing up for a ticket if it does...:D

There's no fucking way I'm payin' to watch Van Halen turn into the fucking Partridge Family...

And there's no way any promoters are going to go for Ed's 16-year old son playing bass for a bunch of 50-somethings...

Yeah, I think promoters would balk at that...the real money (for them) is being able to promote it as the original line-up...especially after '04...

Without Mike, it ain't a reunion. It's just another bastardization of the legend.

If it's true that Wolfgang got this whole ball rolling by telling his Dad he wanted to play with Dave on tour 'cause he liked the six pack stuff...what does that say about the once mighty Van Halen?

This isn't about beaten-to-death thread titles. Call me crazy, but Ed's kid has NOTHING to do with this.

Howard Stern has NOTHING to do with this.

Sobeleski has NOTHING to do with this.

Alex Van Halen had VERY LITTLE to do with this.

                                LMFAO

Sit back, relax, crack an ice-cold fresca, and wait.

                                We'll be here.

                                All Army.
