A copy? No. A friend in the industry who is plugged in? Yes. And as Ive said before, Fair Warning is an excellent album, so this is good news to me.

Tell Jehovah the new tablets are multimedia touchscreen devices, but that the brothers Van Halen deny their existence.

I'm so excited for your inside info from your...ahem..."friend".
You're not saying he has experience in the music game, are you? Wow! I'm impressed.
If I had a nickel for every time some attention-seeking cuntbag came on this site spouting off Sammy pro-love and bragging about "inside info", I'd be able to buy your mother for an entire year. Actually, she's probably worth about only two nickels a night, so two of your posts will do.
Oh, thanks for throwing us "Roth fans" a bone by claiming you like FAIR WARNING. I'm touched. I truly am.
By the way, FOR UNLAWFUL CARNAL KNOWLEDGE sucks donkey balls.
And as for claiming you know what the new album sounds like, I'm sure your friend is another internet troll you met online who's been feeding you a few lines. So, you escape from the reality of your mother's house (and your current living quarters) into virtual reality so you can claim you have "inside info" because you're so important...
...though I'm afraid you're too late, as we'll all know everything by November 30.
...and you'll still be an unimportant peon who none of us will remember by then.
...and the album will probably sound nothing like FAIR WARNING.
...and FOR UNLAWFUL CARNAL KNOWLEDGE will still suck donkey balls.Roth Army Militia

Rikk, scathing and original. Killshot. See, I'm a Van Halen fan--you're a David Lee Roth fan. Ed wrote some good songs while Hagar was in the band, dismissing it all the way you do is lazy. The music Ed wrote on the first 6 is better, a few fillers, but that's to be expected. Didn't realize you were so territorial about Fair Warning. I'll go throw my copy away. When the new album comes out and does remind you of FW, will you admit it then?Comment

Yeah but playing guitar hero doesn't count.
Where's that line, when they make that announcement and it turns out I'm right, then you'll know?
Unlimited vagueness, spun as news.
When Andrew runs with it, then we'll know it sounds like Fair Warning.Comment

This thread could use a tampon... and some clean-up...
Still no mention of VH on Interscope's web site. Which makes me wonder if some sort of media event will take place with an official announcement from the label? Could be this thing on Nov 30th... but that seems a little out of place to announce a label signing at an awards show... go figure?
So far... everything is second hand news.
Whether or not Interscope picked up the full VH catalog will be apparent once they have an artist page with releases listed I guess..."If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”Comment

Wasn't it Justin Beiber not too long ago wearing the same style shirt? (Sans big titties of course). I kinda hate that the old VH shirts are becoming trendy when these people that are wearing might be able to name 'Jump' as a VH song......maybe. I HATE when I mention VH and someone says "oh yeah...Jump!". Fuck! That was 1 pop song and virtually reflects ZERO of what VH was at all. If you think 'Jump' is a good representation of classic VH...I just don't know. Pisses me off.
Don't get me wrong, Jump is a cool tune and always kinda puts me in a better mood. And I know it really opened VH up to a lot more people. But dang if sometimes I just wish they never would have wrote that tune.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment
