Does anybody actually believe VH could get their shit together enough to book the Grammys? Their management couldn't book a gig at Knotts berrry farm.

Now that vh is supposedly with Columbia, maybe they do finally have to do something per contract. Talk about baby steps, they only have to get their asses on stage and say a few words. And this is months after GET READY. And anything can happen between now and Nov. 30th.

"Who do u predict the reuniting band will be @ #GRAMMYnoms? http://grm.my/vH7p3Y Does this hint make u wanna “Jump” & “Dance the Night Away”?"

This is giving us the answer rather than dropping a hint.

I whole heartedly think it will be Van Halen and that it with be the 3/4 original, 1/4 inevitable version. I'll take it. Man, The time between Halloween and Thanksgiving usually goes by in a blink. Not this year. The anticipation is sickening.

Same here... I won't even entertain the thought of a full 4/4 reunion... I'll just be happy to see them and they better FUCKING LET DAVE DO THE TALKING!

VAN HALEN To Make Announcement At 'Grammy Nominations Concert Live'? - Nov. 4, 2011

VAN HALEN is rumored to be making a "special live announcement" at the Grammy Nominations Concert Live in Los Angeles. The 54th annual Grammy Awards' nominations will be announced on Wednesday, November 30, at 10 p.m. live from Nokia Theatre L.A. Live., and will be broadcast by the CBS network.

Toward the end of yesterday's (Thursday, November 3) press release from The Recording Academy, which produces the Grammy Awards, it was revealed that the Grammy Nominations Concert Live will feature "a special, live announcement from an iconic group regarding their historic band reunion set to take place" on the Grammy stage on February 12, 2012. This was followed up by a tweet from the official Grammys Twitter account which read: "Who do u predict the reuniting band will be @ #GRAMMYnoms? Does this hint make u wanna 'Jump' & 'Dance the Night Away'?"

                      Yeah, "Get Ready"!

Maybe The Beatles are reuniting? Maybe Paul and Ringo are scrapping together Lennon and Harrison's ashes right now,and they're going to hit the road in 2012?

Speaking of VH though, while flipping through Zloz's new EVH pictorial. I was impressed by all of the talent that contributed quotes about Ed's influence and greatness. Everyone from Angus to Vito Bratta(remember him?) to Joe Perry. Even Mikey said something great about Ed.

Absent from the compliments however, was DLR.

Hmmm.....I never heard of any Black Sabbath songs with titles like "Jump" or "Dancing In The Streets".

Perhaps it is a reunion of Martha And The Vandellas.

Van halen, at grammys nominations special,

The Grammy nominations concert has certainly grown in stature and diversity. This year’s televised event on November 30, which lists nominees in several major categories, will feature performances by Lady Gaga, Sugarland, Ludacris, Lupe Fiasco, Jason Aldean and ... Van Halen?

That seems to be the case according to a not-so-cryptic tweet that appeared on the official Grammy Twitter feed on Nov. 3 and read:

“Who do u predict the reuniting band will be @ #GRAMMYnoms? Does this hint make u wanna “Jump” & “Dance the Night Away”?

Van Halen, who reunited with original frontman David Lee Roth in 2006, are reported to have signed a new recording contract with Columbia Records prompting speculation as to whether a release date will be announced at the Grammy event. The band was previously a part of the Warner Bros. family for 35 years. A new album will mark Roth’s first recordings with the band since 1984.

A reformed Van Halen, with guitarist Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang replacing bassist Michael Anthony, toured North America in 2007 and 2008. Still, fans are itching to hear new music and even though the band only won one Grammy in their career (Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal in 1991 for the album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, which featured singer Sammy Hagar), the nominations concert may just be the right venue.

For now, a Van Halen appearance has yet to be confirmed by the Recording Academy, although a press release issued on Thursday touted "a special, live announcement from a truly iconic group regarding their historic band reunion set to take place on the GRAMMY stage on Feb. 12, 2012."

The Grammy nominations concert will air live on CBS from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater. The 54th annual Grammy Awards are held at L.A.'s Staples Center and also broadcast on CBS.
