Were you at the '04 Philly show? I bought the All Access package for that, kinda thinking the same as you about Ed. Would this be his last stand, literally? I thought he played great, samuri ponytail and all. It was way early in the tour, so the real ugly Ed hadn't shown up yet, I s'pose. I was 2nd row center. He threw the Flyers shirt he wore for the encore (fucking When It's Love ffs) right at me. Musta dug that I was wearing an EVH hat. Jeff Hausman was sitting right behind me. Recognized him from the Early Years documentary. He had an awesome pro-Dave comment in that. In any case, not sure if I'm doing Philly, NJ or NY yet. If it's Philly, we'll raise a cold one!Comment

After giving the Who's Tattoo a good listen, I'm thinking that the VH tune is an original. Can't picture Dave delivering those dated corny lyrics with his big ass smile and dance no less. As much as early Ed interviews reveal his love for Live At Leeds, I just don't see Al doing the essential Moon fills that pretty much, make that song.

DJ... pull up your pants and drag yourself out of the muff thread for a few and pay fucking attention...
Val dropped the song title a few weeks ago in a tweet of her favorite VH songs. VHND got word yesterday from industry sources the new single titled "Tattoo" is being released next Tuesday. The sun rose in the east today and tonite's forecast is dark with brightly scattered light in the morning... and now back to you, Bob..."If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”Comment

Pretty strange reading through a thread like this if you don't know that other threads have been merged into it. Response posts get pushed down and make no sense anymore. LOL.Same ole song and dance...Comment
