I don't have too many complaints. The length of the show? Meh. You know what, the great Ramones knew what they were doing...play 40 songs in an hour, get off and then people can hit the bars.

If I had any regrets, I guess I would have liked to hear Blood and Fire. I'll live.....
      Stay Frosty, muthas!

As for the length of time they're on stage, my point was Dave adding a little conversation to the set. A few sentences here and there - a story or two - memories about each particular city (if he has any). That would add what... two, three minutes to the length of the show? Not bitching - he apparently wants to rock rather than reminisce - no big deal. Just saying it's an easy thing to do to appeal to each market they're playing in. Maybe Ed said 'No stories, Dave.' Who knows?

I cun't believe all you faggits cuntplaining about the pace of the show! It's a god damn VAN HALEN ROCK CONCERT! If it's not a rapid-fire barrage of motherfucking excellent rock tunes one after ANOTHER after ANOTHER after ANOTHER, then what's it supposed to be????

You want wasted time between songs? You want someone to make a speech? Go see U2!

Van Halen comes to town, like they did in '07 and '08, and just completely melts your face. No dicking around, completely relentless. The way IT SHOULD BE!

As others have mentioned... Stay Frosty needs to be worked in and stay there. I'd also rather hear 2-4 more of the ADKOT tunes rather than some of the older material.

Is it me or does it seem like the pace of the show was established under a heavy dose of Red Bull..? Seems a bit rushed and as the tour progresses it's definitely taking on a mechanical "get in, get it done", rinse and repeat vibe. That's nothing new for VH... but the pace and no breaks between songs just seems a bit slammed...
This is what I'm talking about.

              This thread is pathetic.

And Zah, we're REALLY SORRY Sam Haggar isn't out there singing for you this time around--we know that's what's got your grannie panties in a twist. You don't have to post it. I'll do it for you.

And if you don't like where the band is choosing to play, move out of the buttfucks of Arkansaws!!! No band wants to play Little Rock. No band. The only exception was when Van Hagar took their horrid tour in '04 to some half-filled cafeteria in Little Rock and YOU WENT. Go hit YouTube or your personal digital shots and relive those memories.

And another thing--stop clamoring for Stay Frosty. You don't like that song. Real Van Halen fans do because it's real Van Halen. The Van Halen you love could never SNIFF a song like Stay Frosty. Stop acting like you understand why it's significant to people like us.

True. Thats taking 8 minutes out of the show right there. But I miss Dave's BS like the old days. Thats what made me love him.

My only complaint is people complaining about the best rock show in recent memory.

Funny...but the t-shirts they're selling at the shows say "WORLD Tour."

The USA and Canada don't really represent the entire world....

Really? Ask the "World Champions" of the NBA or NFL!

                                lets try this again.

I am disappointed in the stage set. It's boring compared to this.
