I'm not a huge fan of Memphis (reminds me of New Orleans). It's better in the fall but walking around town in the dead of summer all the streets smell like horses and piss. Sorry about tonight AlmostSaved - that sucks. I had my 2 depressing nights last month - not fun.
Wish I could join you guys for a drink tonight but I'm hungover as hell - went to Mayhem yesterday and drank like a fish. I'm too old for this shit! Show was amazing though - missed The Devil Wears Prada and Anthrax cause of traffic and rain. Motorhead, Slayer, and Slipknot kicked major ass!Stay Frosty!

Wish I could join you guys for a drink tonight but I'm hungover as hell - went to Mayhem yesterday and drank like a fish. I'm too old for this shit! Show was amazing though - missed The Devil Wears Prada and Anthrax cause of traffic and rain. Motorhead, Slayer, and Slipknot kicked major ass!
By tonight you'll be ready for a couple of beers

As for Mayhem we don't get anything like that around here. I've seen Motorhead open for Foo Fighters in Memphis last year and I saw Anthraxx back in the day opening for Pantera in Biloxi. Never seen Slayer and never really been a fan of Slipknot. I don't think I've heard one note by The Devil Wears Prada. I'm stuck in the 70s, 80s and 90s I guess.

I'm actually good. Sure I wish I was in Memphis for the event tonight... but, I got used to the idea that I wouldn't be going when my money was actually refunded upon the actual cancellation of the show a few weeks back. Fingers crossed for 2013.
