Slightly more disturbing is I remember a few years back being dragged along to a kids dance class annual review show and suddenly realizing that the all the moves that that 11 year old girls were doing was Dave at his peak.
Twirling batons, high jumps, kicks, and doing the splits it was all there.
So back in the day you have this long blond haired guy worshiped on stage by tens of thousands of guys wanting to be him and just as many girls wanting to fuck him, who is basically doing a pretty good prepubescent teenage girl dance review combined with big guitars and drugs and rock n' roll.
There must be a psychology paper in that...

For years everyone imagined or assumed Dave was doing the cheerleaders... but based on his routine a more accurate term was he was doing the cheers.

I have to show my 9 year old girl, also into competitive cheer, that post. She'll get a kick out of it. Yeah, bad pun, I know. She's also addicted to blasting Tattoo these days. I'm subtely breaking her out of the Beiber phase.Comment
