    I want none of it...ZERO!!!

seems like way too much of a long-term conspiracy. but either way, there's something to be said for progress, sometimes. central medical databases have the potential to save lifes. can they be abused? sure, but that's why you have oversight. after all, the abuse of the 2nd amendment often leads to innocent deaths, but some people still want to keep it...

I don't want to leave, I want to keep the government in check and roll some of this "security" back...

I don't want the federal government to protect me...

The technology is such that the government can just about hold us in a digital corral with TSA checkpoints and I don't want it to happen...

The writers of the 2nd Amendment's weapons were single-shot and took minutes to reload...they needed the ability to stockpile guns. They didn't anticipate automatic weapons or extended capacity magazines. The discussion needs to be opened, but the NRA and gun nut fuckwits acts as if you blaspheme by even mentioning the possibility...

              What oversight ??

Once they have your medical profile they can make all sorts of decisions of hat you can eat, what medicine you're on, what job you're fit for etc...

Anyone seen these police mug shot magazines that are at the quickie stops these days..? my morning DJ monkey, keeps pulling them out and making fun of all the locals live on the radio and some people recognize his bullshit comedy and call him and talk about it,..WTF..? who got busted last week, DUI, B&E, smacking thier bitch up, etc...

Even a moving violation, that warranted a arrest, such as driving without a valid licsense, (expired) can get you a mug shot.

This same magazine is even located on the net with everyone in it looking thier best ...you know what I mean ??

So, are they going to have the same release of personal data such as your Obama Care info out on the web and in magazines at the Quickie Stop...due to the fact that this, freedom of government information act, information is free for the public to use ?

Or, should I get my -Dossier- designated -Top Secret- and therefore it cannot be opened until 50 years after my death..?

You probably think the 2nd amendment is for hunting...

The founding fathers anticipated more than you think, including evolving technology...

They were alert, brilliant thinkers that knew the history of government tyranny very well...

On the other hand - and I can't believe I need to explain this to a former nurse- "portable" medical records could lessen a lot of medical mistakes, which would in turn lessen the number of malpractice lawsuits that right wingers are always bitching about (and falsely blaming for the rise in health care costs)

For example, if I get brought into a hospital unconscious and for whatever reason somebody gives me any sort of sulfa-based drug, it's not going to be pretty, and whether I survive or not, lawyers will probably be called .

But if they're signing me into this hospital, and my medical record pops up and says don't give this guy any of that goddamned sulfa shit! then a whole shitstorm of consequences could be avoided. And I don't see how that's a bad thing.

At the state level it's acceptable...

I don't see for a second why you want to submit your personal medical records to a central federal beauracratic database that WILL used against you at some point...

By 'no one', you mean yourself.

You've spent this entire time adding FALSE details and outright LIES to this particular story that you haven't got the slightest fucking idea what the truth is. You're far more interested in cooking up a retarded conspiracy theory in your head and trying to sell everyone your "2nd gunman in the grassy knoll" bullshit.

Crazy fucked-up people do crazy fucked-up shit. Not everything that happens in this world is a fucking plot or a set-up.

According to you, "they" controlled this kids mind to go waste a bunch of people just so they could talk about gun control?!?!?
Do you even have the smallest clue as to how damn ridiculous that sounds??
Do you have any idea whatsoever how completely disrespectful that is to the memories of the victims??

It's very very un-christian of you. (Not that I ever believed for a second that you ever were one to begin with)

You really are a piece of motherfucking shit.

The 2nd amendment was for exactly what it says it was for. "A well regulated militia".

They didn't believe in a standing army at all. Didn't believe there should be any such thing as an active military (much less a "military industrial complex") when there wasn't an actual war going on.

The "well regulated militia" was their alternative to a permanent national military. But it's modern equivalent would be the National Guard, not a bunch of right wing dumbasses running around in their army surplus store fatigues with assault rifles babbling incoherently about "Kenyan socialists".
