Ok, then I'll amend my statement to say that some people here have stated that 9/11 was a conspiracy carried out by George W. Bush. And unless W drove every damn plane at the same time then there were other people who were complicit in his desire to mount a "wag the dog" conspiracy. And none of those people have ever come forward with a guilty conscience and said, "yes, I helped W carry out 9/11." Not one. Of course if we wait an hour there will be 37 pseudo-examples listed of people who claim to have planted explosives in the Twin Towers...right? Or we'll hear how every SINGLE one of the people who decided to go along with the 9/11 plot decided to get on the planes to take the magic carpet ride to Allah. Right? My only point is this - IF anyone here can honestly claim to believe that 9/11 was a criminal mastermind plot carried out by the goddamned President of the US then why can't anyone be openminded enough to wonder if this shooting may have been carried out by a drugged-up-brain-washed-mental-zombie? I'm not saying either incident happened that way. I'm just saying IF you're gonna believe the President ordered the death and destruction of 9/11 then it's not that great a leap to believe that the CIA ordered the slaughter of innocent Batman movie-goers. Although that's a pretty big stretch of the imagination..

Anyone who believes either of those theories has an elastic imagination anyway. I'm sure the government pulls their fair share of bullshit on the citizens they're supposedly serving but as you stated something of the magnitude of these tragedies would make some guilty party spill the beans to somebody.

Some people here think 9/11 was an inside job and others don't. I wouldn't say most people here think it was.

I think most people here would agree the Bush Administration was full of assholes.

They ran this country into the ground no doubt. But Bush was gonna go after Saddam anyway. He didn't need 9/11 as an excuse. The WMD theories were enough already. If 9/11 was this great conspiracy the connection to Saddam would have been overwhelming.

What I always found strange was in the first gulf war George Bush Sr. stopped and didn't persue Saddam when some of his generals were ready to go into Bagdad and finish the job. He said we have broken their military machine, we don't need to get more people killed and we would be occupiers. I thought that was the smart move and Bush did the right thing. We would have just gotten bogged down there.

Then his son becomes president and invades and get's Saddam when dad refused to do so. Rumor is Saddam tried to kill Bush he found out about it and wanted revenge. Who knows. Maybe it was Rumsfeld and Chenney wanting to go in.

How is it you've been involved with everything and everyone throughout the History of Time, yet don't know the facts about the first gulf war, the attempt on Poppy's life, or Operation Iraqi Liberation?........and you're from Wyoming but can't spell Cheney?

Could be. The Saudis and the Bush family are in tight together. If Bush got Saddam in the first Gulf War he couldn't cook up a terrorism threat. I remember the day an airplane flew into Washington air space on a course towards the White House. It turned out to be a small plane flying VFR and using the US capitol dome as a refference. They flew in too far and spooked the authorities. Interceptors were launched and Dick Cheney said they just grabbed him and took him to the White House bunker so fast it seemed his feet didn't touch the ground.

Anyways this was 10:00AM and Bush was out at some park riding his bycicle. My brother was working as a vice president for a semi-conductor company then and he said our president isn't in charge. I said how do you know? He said that just being a vice president he didn't have the time to go off and ride a bicycle. He said the president certainly doesn't especially with a war going on. Then he said the president is off playing duriing key working hours and Dick Chenney is at the oval office. Cheney is running things not the president.
