I cant think of a single " name " you could call me that would really anger me..I dont think laws should be passed that would prevent freedom of speech...As far as the dreaded N word..slavery was abolished in ,what,mid 1800's..I dont see it as all that hateful.

Here's the thing....

In a democracy, with a court system that requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt, sometimes the guilty go free. And sometimes the innocent are convicted. Both are tragedies, but that's just the way it goes sometimes. Sometimes race plays a role, sometimes money/fame play a role....

And sometimes it is just inept lawyers and/or hamstringing judges' instructions.

For whatever reason, this one didn't go the way many of us wish it had. But this trial is over.

Let's wait and see what the civil trial brings.

The problem here is that there may not BE a civil trial. Because the fucked up KKKoch funded, NRA sponsored "Shoot whoever the fuck you feel like" law contains a provision that a civil case may NOT be brought against a killer if he is acquitted on "self defense" grounds.

There's always the remote chance of a Federal prosecution, but Zimmerklansman would have to open a medical marijuana dispensary before that assclown Eric Holder would have any interest in putting him on trial.
