We used to drop wooden pallets off the sidewalk overpass by County General Hospital and the 10 freeway, and watch all the cars and trucks skid out of the way until an 18-wheeler would have no choice but to crush the fucker under it's massive wheels.

With glee we watched as the cloud of splinters rose back up to greet us in the face. Ah, good times, playing on the freeway.
