More Recabinet fun...

Re-did the primary rhythm track with the 3-mic setup, and took another shot at the guide lead for this tune...I kinda like the way it turned out!

Recorded a rhythm track using the closest preamp at hand (Line 6 POD). Using the closest guitar at arms reach (Epi. V). POD is set to British High Gain (drive on 8 with no fx).Just fuckin around with various combinations of mics 'n cabs etc.
This motherfukka is the shit. Better put the coffee on,gonna be a long night!

I'm sittin' around makin' new presets today, took one of the stock lead tones (Marshall Plexi, Echoplex & 'Cavernous' Reverb), tweaked it more to my likings (like most of their stock settings, had a little too much of everything; dialed it down) and replaced the cab with the good ol' "Green 4x12" and did the 3-mic thing...sounds pretty fucking awesome! :eek:

I'm going back and re-doing all the rhythm tracks with that mic setup, fucking love it...yeah, gonna be a long weekend over here in a good way too...

I also decided I liked the lead tag I did between the verses on the last version, so channeled my inner Randy Rhoads (lol) learned it and laid it down note-for-note again w/the Recabinet setup too..
