Why are you always trying to compare vh with dave and vh with sammy. The post i started was because some people here think that dave wrote the music ,lyrics and everything else. I thought it was just stupid to think like that. Dave has wrote some cool shit without vh, but it doesn't compare to when he was in the band. vh does not compare from 1986 to now when dave was in the band also.

I absolutely agree. Except Dave IS the top frontman of all time. Not one of the top 5. But you are right. It took 4 members of that group to make VH what it was. Each them was a vital ingredient to the final recipe. You take the sugar away, like they did with Dave in 85, and replace it with vinegar, some of us noticed such a difference. Now they cook up some shit that is totally different. Calling themselves Van Halen isan insult from what Van Halen was from 77 to 84. Different food group altogether now. Jive?
