The Feb. 07 Guitar World article mentions that if DLR agrees fan's will not see the classic line-up.

I don't get the part about Wolfgang only playing bass for 3 months. A few years ago in interviews with Eddie he said that Wolfgang was playing bass and playing it well.

I can't believe some of the things I'm reading. If you're a fan of Classic VH than your a fan of Dave, Ed, Al & MIKE. You fucking guys that want to go see this are just fans of Dave & Ed...PERIOD. All you fucking guys talking about classic VH are fucking hypocrits if you support this. I'm not cheering on some fucking 15 year old kid who had nothing to do with this band other than being lucky enough to be shot out of his fathers pee hole. If he tours with them I hope it flops. If the ball is in Dave's court then he better make damn sure that Mike is on the stage with them otherwise they can kiss my ass motherfucker!

Exactly...I thought Mike played Bass on W&CF, and Fair Warning but I could be mistaken.

He wasn't involved for '84 or any of the Hagar fluff for studio work at all.

You have to think the promoters are pushing for the full lineup.

Box set...full 1981 concert DVD, album and tour...????

It has to happen this time, right? They have to realize that induction to the R&R Hall of Fame (even though that is a dubious honor) comes this once since they will be inducted first time.

They can't let this opportunity pass them by, can they??

OK...if Wolf plays bass in studio, I'm OK with that...Mike hasn't played a note of Van Halen bass on tape since, what, 1996 anyway? No loss.

Mike needs to be on tour though, period.
