If EVH can bury his differences with DLR, surely he can with MA.

I think that Eddie just wants his son to be part of it no matter what. Playing bass would be the only way to have Wolfgang in a band that has Eddie, Dave and Alex. I think that even if Eddie had no problem with Mike at all that he still would use Wolfgang instead of Mike.

hey ,thats not a bad idea ,if ed wants wolfie in the band so bad ,he could please the fans and himself by have mikey back in the band and wolfie play rythym guitar and keys .... alot of those cvh songs do sound a little empty when he plays his leads .....but the question remains would ed want to please the fans and keep van halen legacy from being completly destroyed ?

Well, anybody with some musical background who hits it hard enough can get competant enough on bass for onstage bassics in two or three weeks, I suppose. Arguably; Sean Yseult of White Zombie was onstage after about two or three weeks of exposure to the instrument...I guess there's a precedent.

Still doesn't mean you should be there, though.
