Fuck Shanks.....Hope he just got the fuck out of the way. Just like MWM I want to hear what Van Halen Wrote. Weird...smart....unmatched. I have not been broken by them together yet....although "Jump" hurt a little...but I was young back then....hehe

Get ready, everybody…the Van Halen juggernaut is gearing up

Have been ready since 1996.

Have been waiting since early summer 2008.

Don't need to get ready.

All that is required of Van Halen is to go about it just like they did back in the day: bring it. Fast and furious. The snail's pace of the last 15 years was hardly beneficial to the band.

If Axl Rose was able to get Chinese Democracy released, 3/4's of the CVH lineup should be able to come up with something.

Enough with the fucking hold-ups and excuses.

I had the same concerns when I first saw Shanks' list of credits. I just hope he understood what CVH was all about and as you put it stayed "out of the way." I have faith in Dave to make sure that was the case. What I liked about hearing Shanks was involved was the fact that they were at least working with a highly regarded producer - so they must have been serious about finishing an album. I bet they are paying him big $.

Hopefully if Janie is smart she will let Dave go into promotion overdrive and really get the album talked up to the press......because when it comes to promoting VH shes fuckin clueless!...we found out all about VH being in the studio from Shanks tweets, not from her and shes supposed to be the bands 'spokeperson'.

classic rock station MMM is starting to play more CVH
and introducing it as "Van Halen - from The David Lee Roth years"
Normally that wouldnt mean shit, but thats the sort of spiel
this station spouts if they have interests in upcoming
Australian tours. I read that the 3 Van Halens and Mr Roth
were rumoured to hit Australia this year.

In non promo mode we would get song descriptor
as Van Halen. They seem to be emphasising the whole
Roth angle.

Maybe the new album is as done as its gonna be,
will now be remixed and pro-tooled within an
inch of its life,

and now they are back to organising the tours.

Hey Panamark, great to have you back! And yes, MMM reported a few months ago that VH will be touring Oz in 2011. I think negotiations are well advanced now the album is done and it sounds like they are really wanting to push the Roth angle. They need to do that as you are well aware the only VH we have ever seen is......Van Cherone. So they really need to emphasise Dave is back, and a killer new single will help.

It's gonna be a big year for VH fans!

On a positive note she has done the star charts.

The Van Halen sign is Virgo, and as Saturn is in the third house just now it is a bit rocky. But, because Virgo is one of the most highly intelligent signs of the Zodiac hopefully everything will be fine.
