That crossed my mind, but we know Dave is too much a student of history, rock and otherwise, to bring a Yoko into the mix. Seems odd to have everyone in the band seemingly happily married or in a stable, healthy relationship.

Will this put an end to the Dave is gay rumors (or will his dance floor diva routine perpetuate those rumors indefinitely?)

This is a far different situation on so many levels. Unlike The Beatles:

1) This isn't a band in their prime, they're all older and mellowed out

2) They've been through so many clashes and temporary reunions and then breakups and what-not, anything else is small potatoes

3) Dave already maintains significant physical distance from the Van Halens for the most part anyway. Hell, he arrives separately at the venues on his own tour bus and doesn't take part in soundcheck. Have they even stood next to each other since June 2012?

As far as Dave being gay or bisexual goes...does it even matter? Unless someone's a cold-blooded criminal I couldn't care less what they do in their personal lives. All I care about is what I pay for--the albums and their on-stage performance.

Zing... surprised at your post. There's been plenty of "Yoko's" in the Van Halen mix... Trust me Dave's tried many times.

Problem was Dave wasn't listening real well and kept bringing in YoHO's and now finally gets it but missed the boat.

I'm talking 2013 DLR knowing better. No doubt there were a bevy of women stirring the pot back in the CVH days (married to band members or otherwise).
