Well as you all know I am from the Hagar era, and I'm sure I'll always have some special memories of the band and the music.... On one hand I'm sad at the prospect of Sammy leaving again, but on the other hand I feel this.... If Sammy leaves the band, and Ed & Alex try to bring someone OTHER than Dave in the band, then I think the majority of both era fans will be done with them.... If the band want to salvage any respect at all, then there is only one answer.... Roth. Keep in mind, this is coming from a Sammy fan guys.... And I don't think I'm the only one.... If it's going to end, then let it end the way it began and go out on top with a sell out tour.

Just stating a well known fact, that's all.... What's really sad is that if you didn't know better, you'd think these guys were first graders, but unfortantly they are all 50+ years old with too much time, money, and ego on their hands.... All except Mike, he seems to be the most level headed out of them all. Here's to Van Halen staying with us!

Among other things, he says that he likes Van Halen, but he likes the Waboritas better. He said he was glad he did the tour, but that Van Halen has now been brought to a conclusion. The DJ related a story about wearing a Cabo Wabo t-shirt to a Van Halen concert this tour, and he was apparently asked by someone in the VH camp to remove it, "to keep world peace." Sammy said, "If I had know that, you would've still been wearing that beautiful red t-shirt, and someone would've had a black eye."

I just think he and Sammy are good friends, and that's cool with me.... Being a musician from past bands myself, I know how cool it can be to jam with old band members.... It's cool for old times sake.
