Not surprising they would take today off. Oscar Sunday. Even if they aren't the ones at the ceremony or after-parties, Los Angeles pretty much shuts down for this day. The ones who don't go are usually at Oscar parties people have at their homes.

Must be really difficult for Shanks to work with Dave, Ed and Al.
Dave works at a completely different level than the brothers do -- or maybe Shanks should just focus on Dave and Ed and tell Al to be ready to record his drum parts.
Seriously, we all know that the primary songwriting on all CVH material was from Dave and Eddie -- I doubt that will change now.
Tell Alex to dust off the palm trees and clean up Club Dave every now and then.

im more interested in knowing whether the whole band are recording togetherlike Dave discussed in his book when they recorded the debut album.They were all in the studio together and could look at each of them through the window as he was doing his vocals (or words to that effect).........i wish shanks could post a pic of them recording.But at least we know its happening, i just hope shanks calls ed every morning at 7am and taps his watch and says 'studio bitch'!!!!!!!!!Comment

Then he followed it all up with...

Let's speculate... was the last tweet clarification or damage control?
Were the first two directed at VH or at the current music scene in general thus leading into what I take is a commentary on the new Kim 'Hugeass'hian song.Comment

All the tweets sound like he is ripping Kim's new song. I think the 3rd was to clarify that. Especially since it's about being in "the club". I heard it. it is horrible. She basically talks & yawns through it with the excitement of a funeral. Then the boredom is run through auto tune to make it sound like singing. It truly is horrible. Why does anyone with any fame at all feel the need to make a record?
