By that I mean Malloy is one of those Eddie Bauer wearing, Granola munching yuppies who collects old things in his barbed-wire surrounded cabin home. A Perrier drinking, $5 latte-sipping miscreants who buys Mac, drives a Range Rover and hates all things conservative except the same off shore, tax loophole bank accounts they share. Fuck him.

Let's see I had Granola for breakfast this morning. I drive a Range Rover. I live in a log home in the mountains. I do wear some Eddie Bauer stuff. I have Perrier in the fridge and I'm typing on a Mac. Oh shit!

I have a pair of Eddie Bauer shoes. They cost me a whole $5. Not a bad price for any shoes. Almost impossible for Size 15. Wasn't about to pass them by.

Thing is though, Eddie Bauer actually makes stuff. Apple actually makes stuff. Range Rover makes stuff. And yeah, they should all make more of their stuff HERE, but they still have a valid purpose for existence, as opposed to a bunch of cokeheads on Wall Street shuffling numbers on a computer and rigging the game so they cash in no matter what the outcome.

Nothing wrong with granola either, as long as it isn't sweetened with high fructose corn poison.

What would that be? Exploitation of workers? More than likely Eddie Bauer is manufactured in China and Ranger Rover in Mexico. Apple assembles their overpriced crap in Taiwan. The days of wine and roses for the American worker are over. No corporation no mater how much you happen to like their product is going to pay an American worker when they can have the same labor done at 1/10 of the price. And that is what gets me - people out on the street protesting with an iPhone or Blackberry made in China demanding American factory jobs (although Blackberrys are assembled in Canada). If people want real change they also have to be willing to sacrifice their luxuries and no protester as far as I have seen is letting go of their Sony Handicam.

As for Granola. I'm calling you out on that one. Nobody eats that trendy treebark non-nutritious shit.
