Just Like Paradise and Perfect Timing are great songs.

As for the next album Drop in the Bucket is arguably Dave's greatest song ever - with VH or solo. A Little Ain't Enough and 40 Below are great too.
With the exception of 2 songs, ALAE is a masterpiece.

Elvis is a douche. Any DLR fan who doesn't recognize ALAE for the masterpiece it is is delusional.

    Fucking kicks ass.

Who is this clown? What bands was he in? Name some of his songs. I still have no idea who he is.

EVH blows him away. Not even close. from what I can see at least.

Tell me One Foot Out The Door isn't some of the fastest guitar playing ever.

EVH has the untouchable brown sound. Listen to Hear About It Later. It's mesmerizing.

            Masterpiece ??

Maybe if you ride around with your T-tops off of your Iroc Camaro...

Songs like Shoot It, Lady Luck, Hammerhead Shark, 40 Below and even the title track all SUCK and are an embarrassment to hard rock...

Baby's On Fire and Sensible Shoes are good songs though...

It's Showtime would have been a good song had Dave not been totally out of breath by the time he sang it...

Dave was pretty much out of breath by 1991 in general...

            LMAO!

You're a fucking idiot. This proves it. Out of breath? Dave can still run circles around you and not break a sweat.

                ALAE kicks ass. Period.

Embarrassment. Yeah. Coming from a "Yngwie fan". Whoever the fuck Yngwie is...........

I'm not joking. I have no idea and don't give a shit except I see his name often.

Dude you obviously are'nt a musician . You truely have no clue.
Why troll a thread and argue about something you have no idea about (guitar)...
You like ALAE . Great !

You think Ed's "brownsound" is mesmerizing. Great !

Never heard of Yngwie , big deal. Just because you've never heard of him or Lukather does'nt mean they suck.

From what I've seen , Elvis has been trying to educate you by exposing you to Yngwie and what he does on guitar. Hell he's even offered recommendations about which albums to check out.

Actually ,I'm quite surprised how patient he's been with you...

Learning does'nt end when you finish school... Lighten up !

Super nice dude. Incredible musician. He's as good on piano as he is guitar. Plays with a classical feel largely due to the classical training he had growing up.
He's also a major fan of Canadian beer and tittie bars...:D

                            Tony on piano.

Anyone who likes rock guitar and says this is all shred and has no feeling after giving it an honest listen is brain dead in my opinion...

Early Yngwie still grabs me the same way early Edward does...

The main difference is Edward had a better vocalist...
